ABOUT ME
My name is Rachel Cohn and I am a senior at Flowery Branch High School. One thing I love to do is to be an active member of the school and my community. I am captain of the the Lady Falcons varsity soccer team as well as a member of the varsity swim team. While sports take up a huge part of my time I also dedicate myself to 4 clubs in my school. I am a member of the chorus, Spanish Honors Society, Tri-M, Beta Club and National Honors Society. I currently am the induction chair for Beta Club and the treasurer for the National Honors Society.
My mentorship is at Aeon Clinical Laboratories up in Gainesville, Georgia. There I work in the toxicology lab as one of the lab assistants. What kind of work do I do there? Well I along with the rest of my coworkers, unpack, sort, label, and test urine samples. We do two different types of testing, a regualr toxicology screen and/or drug testing. I get to work with extremely advanced technology and learn a lot about chemistry. It has been a real eye-opening expereince.
